Felice graduated Cornell University, College of Arts and Sciences, with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. In 1986, Mr. Felice worked in Washington D.C. in the United States Senate. As a legislative intern, he drafted hearing material for New York ’s Senator Alfonse D’Amato, and conducted research in the Library of Congress on various New York issues, including real estate law. Thereafter, based upon the interests he developed in Washington D.C., Mr. Felice attended New York Law School in Manhattan, where he served as Senior Staff member on the school’s Law Journal.

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Felice took a position with Fischbein, Badillo, Harding Wagner, a well known real estate law firm with strong political ties throughout New York City. As Senior Associate in the Fischbein firm, Mr. Felice conducted hundreds of closing for Harry Helmsley and represented well known developer, Peter Kalikow, in ten different buildings in Manhattan. In 1990, Mr. Felice started his own real estate law firm.

Within a short time, Mr. Felice was chosen as the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation’s ("Freddie Mac") Designated Counsel in New York. He also served a two year term on Freddie Mac’s Vendor Advisory Board, and attended many "Best Practice" seminars, at the request of Freddie Mac, as New York’s representative law firm. In 1998, Mr. Felices’ firm was chosen to represent the Federal National Mortgage Association ("Fannie Mae") at the Madison Square Garden Home Loan Convention, and to handle hundreds of closings for Fannie Mae.

Through the present date, Mr. Felice continues to represent some of the key players in New York’s real estate market and is well known throughout the entire State of New York for his work in the mortgage and real estate industry.

Stop Foreclosure Help

Jon B. Felice
with Senator Bob Dole

"By working closely with some of the top real estate and bank executives throughout the country, I had the unique opportunity to learn the fine nuances of the law, which makes all of the difference in the ultimate outcome of the matter," stated Mr. Felice. According to Mr. Felice, "you have to love what you do to be good at it; I love interacting with people and ultimately finding solutions which solve often complex problems." "Whether I am playing the role of negotiator, hardball litigator, or advocating the ‘voice of reason’ to resolve a situation, I love the thrill of walking away with my client as a winner; the smile on my clients’ face is what makes it all worth while, and that is why I love being an attorney."

When asked what he would say to real estate salespersons, who were considering sending their clients to his firm, he responded, "My sincere hope is that you pass the word along to your prospective purchasers and sellers that they can have a high quality law firm closing their transaction at the very reasonable rate of $850.00, which is far below the average closing fee charged by other firms; it is in my opinion, a "win-win" outcome for everyone. I am only able to do this, because over the years, in representing so many banks and large corporations, I have been forced to set up operations based upon volume and time-efficiency. Simply put, we avoid errors and use our technology to streamline our process, which in turn cuts costs and allows our clients to have a tremendous financial benefit as a result. I think it is worthwhile for the real estate salespersons and brokers to give my firm a chance; in the end, I believe their customers will thank them."
