About Jon
Jon B. Felice is our owner and general partner. He presently has many experienced attorneys and Of Counsel on-hand to help clients. Our firm concentrates in real estate, but we come ready to face a diverse set of situations and challenges.
Mr. Felice graduated from Cornell University as a government major with a minor in Spanish, moving on to work as a legislative intern in the United States Senate. His experience there helped him form lasting relationships and an intimate knowledge of the law that still serves his clients well today.
Jon served as a senior staff member on the International Law Journal for a New York school, and he has worked with prominent firms like Fishbein, Badillo, Harding, Wagner, which is a well-known real estate firm with strong political ties throughout New York City. As senior associate in the Fishbein firm, Mr. Felice conducted hundreds of closings for Harry Helmsley, Peter Kalikow, and other recognizable names. Jon's firm also served as "Of Counsel" and Director of Real Estate Transactions at Newman Ferrara LLP for nearly ten years.
Jon's perspective on his work as a real estate attorney is best explained in his own words:
"By working closely with some of the top real estate and bank executives throughout the country, I have the unique opportunity to learn the fine nuances of the law, which makes all of the difference in the ultimate outcome of the matter.
You have to love what you do to be good at it; I love interacting with people and ultimately finding solutions which solve often-complex problems. Whether I am playing the role of negotiator, hardball litigator, or advocating as the voice of reason to resolve a situation, I love the thrill of walking away with my client as a winner. The smile on my client's face is what makes it all worthwhile, and that is why I love being an attorney."
